La Fuente is a local Mexican restaurant in Kirksville, Missouri and is a favorite of many people. It is a great restaurant and is family friendly. As soon as you walk in the door, you are immediately greeted and taken to a table. After you sit down, you are instantly provided with warm, fresh chips and salsa. There is such a nice atmosphere at La Fuente that makes you feel comfortable from the minute you walk in the door. The soft but upbeat Spanish music plays quietly in the background while you are eating and all of the waiters and waitresses are very attentive, friendly and genial. They are always polite and come back to check on you multiple times throughout your meal to make sure that you have everything you need. They are always happy to get you anything that you may need. Your food is brought out as soon as it is done being cooked and it never takes very long for you to receive your food. The food has an amazing savoury flavor and is cooked to perfection. The salsa is absolutely delicious and the queso is to die for. The queso isn’t too hot but has just enough kick to keep you coming back for more, and it tastes great served over anything or just with chips. There are a lot of options on the menu, so there is something for everyone. It is always a pleasant experience when dining at La Fuente.
