Are you looking for something to do this St. Patricks Day? There are many ways to connect with the Irish heritage all across Missouri. On March 17, there will be multiple parades including ones in the following towns: St. Louis, Kansas City, Lake of the Ozarks, there’s even one in downtown Kirksville.
The annual downtown Kirksville parade consists of a green and gold-colored parade, the little Miss and Mister Leprechaun contest, as well as Irish themed games. They will also have a 5k if you’re looking for a little more action and live entertainment, all proceeds go to local charities.
The 5k will begin at 5:15 pm which will include awards for the top 3 finishers in each age division. The parade will begin around 6:15 pm with the line up staring at 5:30 pm. So if you’re looking for a way to celebrate St. Patricks day head on over the Kirksville on Tuesday, March 17th.
And don’t forget to wear GREEN!
